Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (« Agreement ») constitute a legally binding contract between you, the guest (« Guest »), and VillaCrew Mykonos (« VillaCrew »), regarding the rental of luxury villas in Mykonos, Greece. By making a reservation with VillaCrew, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined in this document.
Definitions
In this Agreement, the following terms shall have these meanings:
« VillaCrew » refers to the company operating the website and managing the villa rental services.
« Guest » refers to the individual making the booking and all persons who will be staying at the property.
« Property » or « Villa » refers to any accommodation offered for rental through VillaCrew.
« Booking » refers to the reservation of a Property for a specified period.
« Rental Period » refers to the duration of the Guest’s stay at the Property.
Reservation and Booking Procedures
Booking Process
Bookings can be made through our website, via email, or by telephone. A booking is confirmed only when VillaCrew has received the required deposit and has issued a written confirmation to the Guest. VillaCrew reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
Booking Requirements
The lead Guest making the booking must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during the entire rental period. VillaCrew reserves the right to refuse entry if this condition is not observed.
Maximum Occupancy
Each Property has a maximum occupancy limit, which is stated in the Property description. Exceeding this limit without prior written approval from VillaCrew is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without refund, and additional charges may apply.
Payment Terms
Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total rental amount is required within 7 days of making the reservation to secure the booking. If the deposit is not received within this period, VillaCrew reserves the right to cancel the reservation without notice.
Balance Payment
The remaining balance (70% of the total rental amount) must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the arrival date. For bookings made within 60 days of arrival, the full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). All bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the Guest. Credit card payments may incur a processing fee.
Additional Costs
Additional services requested by the Guest (such as private chef, transportation, excursions) will be charged separately and must be paid for either in advance or upon arrival, as specified at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Guest
All cancellations must be made in writing to VillaCrew. The following cancellation fees will apply:
More than 60 days before arrival: 30% of the total rental amount (deposit forfeited)
30-60 days before arrival: 50% of the total rental amount
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total rental amount
Cancellation by VillaCrew
In the unlikely event that VillaCrew needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments made by the Guest will be refunded in full. Alternatively, the Guest may choose to transfer their booking to another available Property of equal or greater value (with any price difference being covered by VillaCrew) or to another date (subject to availability).
No-Show
If the Guest fails to arrive on the scheduled arrival date without prior notification, this will be considered a cancellation and no refund will be provided.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of €2,000 is required for all bookings. This deposit will be collected upon arrival in cash or pre-authorized on a credit card. The deposit will be returned in full within 7 days after departure, provided that no damage or loss has occurred to the Property or its contents, and that no additional cleaning is required beyond normal use.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-In Procedure
Standard check-in time is between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM local time. Early or late check-ins may be arranged with prior approval, subject to availability and additional fees.
Upon arrival, Guests will be required to present valid identification for all members of the party and complete any necessary registration forms.
Check-Out Procedure
Check-out time is 10:00 AM on the departure day. Late check-out may be arranged with prior approval, subject to availability and additional fees.
The Property must be left in a reasonable condition, with all garbage disposed of properly, dishes washed, and furniture returned to its original position.
Guest Responsibilities
Property Care
Guests are expected to treat the Property with care and respect. Any damage or breakage must be reported to VillaCrew immediately.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Properties. Designated outdoor smoking areas may be available.
Behavior
Guests are expected to behave in a respectful manner toward neighbors and the local community. Excessive noise, particularly between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, is not permitted.
Events and Parties
Events, parties, or gatherings exceeding the maximum occupancy of the Property are prohibited unless explicitly approved in writing by VillaCrew. Additional fees and special terms may apply for approved events.
Services and Amenities
Included Services
The rental price includes:
– Daily housekeeping (except Sundays)
– Linen and towel changes twice weekly
– Welcome basket upon arrival
– Basic toiletries
– Utilities (water, electricity, gas)
– Wi-Fi internet access
– Pool and garden maintenance
Additional Services
The following services can be arranged at additional cost:
– Private chef services
– Grocery shopping and provisioning
– Yacht and boat charters
– In-villa spa treatments
– Personalized excursions
– Luxury transportation
– Event planning
– Fitness and wellness programs
– Childcare services
Property Maintenance
VillaCrew or its representatives reserves the right to enter the Property for essential maintenance work or in case of emergencies. Whenever possible, advance notice will be provided to the Guest.
Regular pool and garden maintenance will be carried out during the rental period. Guests will be informed of the scheduled times.
Liability and Insurance
VillaCrew’s Liability
VillaCrew acts as an agent for the Property owners and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal belongings occurring during the Guest’s stay, regardless of cause.
Guest’s Liability
Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings. VillaCrew strongly recommends that Guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover personal injuries, illnesses, and loss or damage to personal property.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, war, or pandemics.
Privacy Policy
VillaCrew respects Guests’ privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. All personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating the reservation and stay, and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the requested services.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Complaints During Stay
Any issues or complaints arising during the stay must be reported to VillaCrew immediately to allow for prompt resolution. Failure to report issues promptly may affect VillaCrew’s ability to address them and may impact any subsequent claims.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
VillaCrew reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Guests are encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions regularly.
Acceptance of Terms
By making a reservation with VillaCrew, the Guest acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
